Take Off:

APPLY BRAKES

TRIM 10% full range NOSE UP

FLAP - STAGE 1

ADI - AS REQUIRED (High temp and short runway)

Slowly apply THROTTLE

UNTIL TGT < = 810 C FOR DRY TAKEOFF

Max 860 C for WET take off with ADI

AWAIT 12000 rpm

RELEASE BRAKES

ROTATE at 95 KIAS   (@ 42000lbs)

Establish positive rate of climb

GEAR UP

ACCELERATE > 120 KIAS @ <= 500 ft/min

CLIMB 300 feet AGL

FLAP - UP

ACCELERATE 140 KIAS @ <= 10 degrees pitch

*******************************************

Noise abatement:

TGT <= 785 C

Establish 10 degrees pitch

CLIMB 2000 feet AGL

Reduce to climb power

***********************************

Climb:

SET 13800 RPM

Subject to TGT <= 760 C

140 KIAS

Plan 2000 PPH

***********************************

Max Cruise:

Descend and use to battle headwinds

Or need to make up time, etc.

SET 13300 RPM

Subject to TGT <= 760 C

Do not exceed 224 KIAS

Plan 1600 PPH

****************************

Typical (airline policy) Cruise:

SET 12600 RPM

Subject to TGT <= 730 C

Plan 1300 PPH

Yields 240 KTAS @ FL120

****************************

Minimum cost cruise:

12000 RPM

Subject to TGT <= 700 C

Plan 1100 PPH

****************************

Descent:

AVOID PSI yellow range

DO NOT EXCEED 224 KIAS

*****************************

Holding:

Either:

FLAP - UP

12000 rpm

Else if rate 1 procedure turns required using AP:

REDUCE 135 KIAS

FLAP - STAGE 1

ESTABLISH 130 KIAS

RPM as required

****************************

Final Approach and Landing:

RPM as required

TGT <= 760C

REDUCE < 168 KIAS

GEAR - DOWN (if required as speed brake)

Else delay gear until near Glideslope

Approaching Glide slope:

GEAR - DOWN

REDUCE < 135 KIAS

FLAP - STAGE 1

After Descending:

REDUCE < 125 KIAS

FLAP - STAGE 2

Above 600 feet:

FLAP - STAGE 3

MAX SHORT LANDING ONLY:

AS late as reasonably possible

FLAP - STAGE 4

Cross airfield boundary 95 KIAS  (@ 40,000lbs)

WITH CARE - 85 KIAS With FLAP 4 for max STOL only

FLARE and LAND

After nosewheel contact:

CLOSE THROTTLE (invokes Ground Fine Pitch)

FLAP - UP

Below 55 kts:

WHEEL BRAKES as required
